      Will,

Too funny! I too just got back from a good trip with some Bama paddling mixed in!..

Was able to catch the canyon at nice flows for my first time;  Glad you got to experience it as well!  Can’t wait to get back when the falls are pumping;  the level was sitting right around 650 cfs, and from what I understand, needs to be around 850 before it becomes a huckfest!

      Dan,
I rock the Desperado; The first, and only paddle I have used since getting into boating. Slapped some airbrush on it for some bright color and the damn thing just keeps coming back for more…

I have yet to find it in me to pay the asking price for the nicer carbon / fiberglass blades on an item that is likely to be lost at some point. (especially with my habitual ritualistic swimming routine)

      It’ll treat you well!

Caught the saint early this morning in the 18 – 27 inch range. Towards the end of run # 1, the snow picked up quite a bit. All pools were certainly good to go, and I am sure even more clear now with the higher levels.

The road to D a bit sketchy!

Will be boating tomorrow a.m.; Shooting for two laps.
