
ACA L4 Whitewater Kayak Instructor Certification – TBD April 2024

Dates in April 2024 TO BE DETERMINED. Expected to be a Wed am – Sunday pm OR Sat am – Wed pm. Registration will open when dates are set.
This five-day (40 hours min) course prepares participants to be able to teach and model the paddling skills, technical knowledge, rescue ability, teaching ability, group management, and interpersonal skills needed to teach whitewater kayaking (Class III).
Course Prerequisites – include the skills described in the ACA Level 4 Whitewater Kayaking Skills Assessment, which include:
- A roll that works in in Class III water
- Completion of the appropriate level skills course or equivalent skill AND assessment
- An ACA SWR class is strongly suggested, but not required

The course will be based out of Cinco de Mayo Campground – Riverside RV Park in Farmington and the St Francis River, Millstream Gardens.
