Please consider registering for this course April 6-7\, 2024\, https://missouriwhitewater.org/event/aca-swiftwater-rescue-l4-bill-miles-instructor/ \n‐—————————- \nThis course is being offered at the request of MWA & Team River Runner (TRR).  This course will be action-packed and follow the American Canoe Association (ACA) curriculum\, a hybrid of L3 and L4.  It will be full of rescues for the day-to-day paddler.  All paddlers and paddle craft are welcome.  We will focus on the rescue skills you need to keep yourself safe on your favorite river.  The focus will be on all the necessities you need to enjoy your time on the river and not only enhance yourself\, but your fellow paddlers’ skills and comfort level.  Skills will include rescue philosophy\, rescue sequence\, boat-based rescues\, throw ropes\, wading\, swimming\, working with victims in the water\, incident commands for the everyday paddler\, and many more.  This course is perfect for anyone who uses float streams\, big rivers\, or whitewater. \nDownload the full ACA Course description from the ACA \nRegistration: To save your spot or for more information\, contact the instructor\, R.J.
