This course includes additional focus for paddlesports\, including wound cleaning and closure\, as well as the reduction of simple shoulder dislocations. Some people may do their own shuttle\, if time and vehicles work out for that. It’s a 35 min drive one way to the Pruitt take-out. \nPlease make your travel arrangements and be at the Ponca put-in Thursday 4/27/2023 at 12:00 pm (noon). You can do 3 nights or less\, your choice.  If you don’t take out at Pruitt (after 3 nights)\, please arrange your own take-out plans\, perhaps with the BOC.  These two maps show our route: ponca-kyles.pdf and kyles_to_pruitt_map_revised_.pdf\, plus and take-out options prior to Pruitt (Ponca to Kyles Landing = 10.6 river miles; to Erbie = 16 miles; to Ozark = 21 miles). \nWe will pack our own sleeping and eating gear out of our canoe or touring kayak.  Please be prepared to be self-sustaining\, including a means to filter water\, be warm\, and to keep your possessions dry if you tip.  Current Buffalo River Levels. \nInformation\, contact Sally Haywood 314-374-9206 or Scott Owens 314-599-1177 .  We’ll start a text chain for those who have registered.
