Emphasis is placed both on personal safety and on simple\, commonly used skills. Fundamental and more advanced techniques for dealing with hazards that carry greater risks for both victim and rescuer\, such as strainers\, rescue vest applications\, entrapments\, and pins\, also are practiced.  We will cover boat-based rescue skills.  Scenarios will provide an opportunity for participants to practice their skills both individually and within a team/group context.  This course is perfect for anyone who uses float streams or whitewater.  We’ve all seen a canoe wrapped around a tree– you will be able to respond. \nDownload the full ACA Course description from the ACA \nReserve your spot: To save your spot\, contact the instructor (below).
