There are some pretty fantastic rivers in this area\, like the Big South Fork\, the Emory and Obed Rivers. This is an event similar to Week of Rivers. Every morning\, paddlers gather in the Wigwam to learn about the day’s paddling events and sign up for trips. They have something for everyone including non-boater activities\, like hiking. Located at a kids Summer Camp you can stay in a cabin or you can camp. This is a pretty drafty camp so bring plenty of warm clothes. Luckily the fire in the Wigwam is always roaring and there are lot’s of chairs. There is a silent auction and a live auction. Usually a movie night about paddling or conservation. Some people may do their own shuttle\, if time and vehicles work out for that. It’s a 35 min drive one way to the Pruitt take-out. \nPlease make your travel arrangements and be at the Ponca put-in Thursday 4/27/2023 at 12:00 pm (noon).
