SUMMARY:ACA L3 & L4 Kayak Instructor Recert
DESCRIPTION:This two-day course completes the requirements by the ACA to be re-certified to teach every 4 years. \nReserve your spot below. We will follow up via email for any additional details required to complete your registration. \nAll registrants should be previous ACA L3 or L4 Kayak instructors who have recently expired and have asked for an extension or are about to expire.  See the instructor expectations listed here: \n\nLevel 3: River Kayaking ( Skills Course Skills Assessment Instructor Criteria )\nLevel 4: Whitewater Kayaking ( Skills Course Skills Assessment Instructor Criteria )\n\nThe course will be based out of Cinco de Mayo Campground – Riverside RV Park in Farmington and the St Francis River\, Millstream Gardens. \nCost: $175. Minimum registrants 5 (for course to happen); Maximum 10. \nTaught by Tom Burroughs\, SwiftwaterRescue@gmail.com\, 479-595-1655 \nACA Safety and Rescue Committee Chair \nACA L-5 Advanced Swiftwater Rescue Instructor Trainer Educator \nACA L-4 Whitewater Kayak Instructor Trainer Educator\nACA L-4 Whitewater Rafting Instructor Trainer \n2015 ACA “Excellence in Instruction” National Award Recipient \nITRA Level 3V Swiftwater Rescue Instructor \nNREMT/EMT-W/MPIC – Wilderness Medicine Instructor \nTeam Leader- Washington CO AR Search and Rescue team\nDirector\, Ozark Safety and Rescue Educators / Clear Creek Paddlesports \nMember- Wilderness Medical Society \n\nSee MWA Training Reimbursement Policy.  MWA reimburses for certain trainings with an MWA volunteer commitment expectation.
