Finally, a manufacturer empathizes with the struggles to properly outfit morphing kids. I bought one for Nate, even though I will probably have to buy another much larger one in 18 months, but it did not hurt so badly. Linked below at Amazon for $324, new! Also, Nate hates latex neck gaskets. This drysuit has a very dry punch through neoprene neck gasket with a supplemental velcro closure, which is the only reason Kokatat does not describe it as a drysuit. Very well done and thoughtful. Has everything my drysuit has except for a relief zipper (built in fabric dry socks, front entry, etc), and whereas it is not Goretex, it is a multi layer membrane breathable fabric. For anyone who has a kid that is really into paddling but hates the cold, this is a great answer.

| mike_p | Thanks for posting. It gets expensive trying to outfit our growing kids for boating. My 10 year old doesn't like anything that fits too tight. I bought a NRS Stampede shorty jacket last year & was amazed how dry & comfortable it was without the latex neck gasket. So for Christmas I ordered the long sleeve version to compare to my dry top. On backorder right now. |
