NOC GAF/Nantyfest

NOC Guest Appreciation Festival (GAF) September 26-28
Newbies having taken the pool classes and/or spring/mini clinics have an opportunity to paddle with guidance down the Nantahala near Wesser, NC, and other chosen area rivers beginning Friday, September 26 (one month earlier than normal). First and second year intermediates can also benefit, as we will also have guidance oriented towards advanced river running and play at a few of the decent features on the Nanty. Check in for base camp cabins at 3pm Friday. Pot luck dinner at the base camp kitchen/dining area above the group showers on Saturday afternoon. One of the largest used whitewater equipment swap/sales is here, and bargains can indeed be had, or you can sell items here as well. NOC is having their largest event of the year with bands and the Club Cup trials.
